Here are three tips to make you a reliable driver. Adhere to these guidelines and you would avoid crashes and costly visits to the repair shop.

Keep your lights switched on while it's hazy, misty, or if there's rainfall or snow. This would make it clearer for you to observe the road.

Are Female Drivers Better Than Male Drivers?

February 25th, 2010 by vegumx

The age old squabble, are male drivers better drivers as compared to women? Insurance companies have done loads of studies and sorry men, it seem pretty imbalanced. I hunted out more or less the best data, take a look.

*Men account for more fatalities each year. This may well be because men normally end up travelling longer distances while also taking part in unsafe driving.

*Female casualties have risen greatly from the early 70's, while there has been a insignificant difference in the figure of male deaths. The rise in female driver fatalities can be accounted for by an increase in experience. A larger number of women are licensed now than in the past. They cover more miles plus are also prone to drive after nightfall.

*The total crashes ensuing in death for every 100 million miles travelled by male and female drivers has reduced in similar patterns in between 1977 and the start of the 21st century – somewhat less than a 50% decrease for both sexes
